After my experiment yesterday, I decided to do some more work with acrylics.
This piece is the result of several layers: orange glaze; squares of light blue, green and brown spritzed with water and then dabbed with paper towel; red glaze also spritzed and then sanded when dry; dabs of ochre paint added to give some highlights; shiny teal paint dabbed on through sequin waste; rings applied by applying paint to the bottom of a beaker and pressing onto the paper; and lastly more dabs of ochre paint.
