At last ...

... you may have been thinking! I know I promised to show my second ArtsyCrafts piece ages ago, but I haven't had the right light to photograph it in. It wasn't that great today, but I went with it any way.

So here is my house; first with the door slightly ajar. I added the butterflies to the front of the doors when I got home as I thought they needed just a little something to take the plainness away.

Now with the doors open so that you can see the metal tree better.

Thirdly, from a side angle so that you can see the detail on the inside of the doors.

We used Colorwash to colour both the metal roof and the papers (Thorndon Hall from Paper Artsy),  Grungepaper coloured with Inka Gold for the hinges and, of course, Tim Holtz's Tissue to tape to bind all the edges. The tree was made from a Ten Seconds Studio mould and the embellishments are all from Tim Holtz's Idea-ology range. What do you think?
