A Daffodil

I painted this daffoodil at an art session I did a few weeks ago with friends. I only had an hour and a half, and I feel there is a lot of room for improvement, but it's not bad. It may get painted over, though, and turned into something else.

Blue Tits

My sister recently took a felting course, which sparked an interest in me. As a starter piece, I made this little blue tit, from a kit. Very simple, but it has spurred me on to try some other things. Watch this space!

Coincidently, I also featured a blue tit in one of my recent journal pages. Here it is.

More experimentng

Well, having tried Clour Box inks on my Gelli Plate, I thought I would try using Distress Oxides, again diluted with Brushos.

Experimenting

Whilst I was with my friend, the other thing we had fun wih was using Colour Box inks and diluted Brushos on our Gelli Plates. It produced some wonderful eefects.

Lovely Layers!

I spent a day crafting with a friend recently. We spent our morning using a Seth Apter layering technique. These are the three pieces I created, all using the same colour paints with some of Seth's embossing powders on the top layer.

Flowers

This page is a little different to my previous ones, as I created it using brush pens and water-soluble pastels. Below, is a black & white copy of it, to be used in collage later on.

Digital Art

Usually, when I display digital pieces they are made from kits I have bought. These are a bit different. I created them using various Art Apps on my tablet. There is a lot of room for improvement, but I enjoyed creating them. I think they get better as you scroll down.

B&W

Here are two more black & white copies of my journal pages. I'm going to be doing more of this!

Black & White

One of the things I have been reminded to do is to take photocopies of my own pieces so that they can be incoportaed into other pieces. I hadn't, however, thought of copying them in black and white. So prompted by Traci Bautista I have now done so. Here are a few.
