Who am I?

The face in the centre of this page is actually a drawing by Rebecca McMeen that I printed in black and white and then painted and drew over. The used washes of acrylic paint so that the some of the details would still be visible. I then stamped the various scripts around the edges.

A journal page

I created this page by first colouring it with Pan Pastels and then adding some Portfolio Pastels around the edges. I sprayed it with (cheap) hairspray to fix. I stamped the Dina Wakley images onto scrap brown paper, which had previously been splattered with paint, and then stuck them onto the page. I added the hearts (left overs from an earlier piece) and the doodles and journalling to finish.

The wettest drought ever

I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but here in the south east of England it is raining cats and dogs and yet we still have a hose pipe ban!

I took the opportunity one of these sunny afternoons to go outside and make some backgrounds with my cans of spray paint and stencils. These are the first two I ended up with.

I guess we all feel slightly askew sometimes! Well, recently, I have been having a lot of tooth problems, which has definitely knocked me off centre. Fortunately, I am returning to normal now.
