Victorian

That's the theme that the Three Muses have given us this week. I do so enjoy their challenges, and last week I was lucky enough to be one of three lucky people to win one of their mail art envelopes - can't wait for it to arrive. My envelope caught Rosie's interest and so we have arranged a swap - so I'm expecting two decorated envelopes through my post box. How lucky am I?!

Anyway, back to this week's theme. Here's my digital collage.

Beautiful job of blending. I love the subtle colors. I wonder if she ever smiled! Thanks for playing along, Jackie. Exciting to hear you and Rosie are going to swap envelopes. That's exactly what we hoped would happen with the artists who participated in that challenge!

This is a beautiful vintage piece- I've learned a lot about Victoria from doing this challenge- really an amazing story of power yet with sadness. This is a wonderful representation of her Jackie!

Hi Jackie, this is my first time at your blog - wow! what gorgeousness! I love all that I have seen so far. So many challenges and so many different techniques. Like you, I am self taught, and discovering all the time so I will be back for sure. Thanks so much for commenting on my GPP street team challenge.

Your collage is very impressive, Jackie! I think queen Victoria's biography is very interesting, and you have captured here one aspect of her life's story.

Great artwork, Jackie. I can identify with Queen V having mourned for 40 years and more, not having lost a partner but having put up with one for a goodly part of my life!
