Experimenting

What is an art journal for, if not for experimenting? I thought I would try out a colour combination that I wouldn't normally use. Add a bit of mark-making with a brush, and a Stabilo All pencil and this is what I got.

Leaves

This page was more of a doodle than anything else - charcoal & pastels over acrylic paint.

Observations

I am finding it interesting observing human behaviour during these strange times of coronavirus. I am also learning how it can sometimes be difficult not to be drawn into the ways of others e.g. I don't want to horde, but it is very difficult shopping when one doesn't know when the next slot will be available...

This page was created with acrylic paint, collage, pens and rub-ons.

Good Friday

Last Sunday, at our Palm Sunday virtual service, we were shown how to cut out a cross with just one cut. We were then encouraged to decorate them, Here is one of mine. The other I will post on Easter day.

Coping

As we are not allowed to go out at all for 12 weeks, in many ways life at the moment is quite relaxing. However, there are also the times of stress e.g. trying to get an online shopping slot... Hope you are coping with the restrictions of coronavirus.

Here is a digital piece.
