I do love the tag..... its really pretty ... can I offer an opinion?
I think perhaps the ribbon is to strong a colour and a bit heavy for the delicate tag...
Yes, I will let you know about the quilting iron..... we have a quilting/wool shop in town and I will pop in there and see if they have them and how much they are.
Terri contacted me to say she uses a heat gun to melt the wax - which was useful (and I hadn't thought of doing) so I emailed her to ask her how she smooths it out. Will keep you posted!

I'm just about to put on my decorating clothes and start the final coat on the ceiling...... I have to say I prefer using acrylics/watercolours to emulsion!!!!
You seem to be going through a very self-critical stage at the moment, Jackie :-) I like the tag a lot but I maybe wouldn't have added the blue fibre (but that's just me).

The background looks fabulous. But I agree with Karen, the ribbon is a bit too bold. Perhaps you can add a butterfly or two.
