Memories is the theme at Take a Word this week and I have used a photo of myself and layered it on to one of my masterboards, which was created by hand, to create this piece.

Some time let me know if masterboard means a background you have previously created and stored on your computer to reuse. I am not familiar with the term. Tnx.
I had the same doubt that Faye, then I checked the internet and I guess it is a cardstock (thicker than regular paper and thinner than cardboard) that is stamped, embossed and/or painted and used in cards etc. Am I guessing right? You were an adorable little girl and your background suited perfectly.
Thanks to both of you, Jackie and Christine, for your explanations of "masterboard". I think I've used that technique but didn't know the term. Or perhaps I just used a form of it, but not exactly as prescribed.
I also wanted to ask you the meaning of the word MASTERBOARD but I've read the message of Faye. I will read it at her blog :) ****** About your piece Jackie.
