Fabric wall hanging

This is one of my first projects using my sewing machine. I sewed several layers of various materials, including different coloured felts, some black lace and some patterned cotton. On top of these I sewed a piece of paper that I had stained slightly with tea and a printed transparency. I then attached this to a large, painted cardboard tag. Simple and yet quite effective!

This is great Jackie. If it involves sewing, of any sort, in my book it can't be simple! The transparency looks amazing. Pen x
