You may remember the background (see my post on 22nd March), it's a piece of the newspaper that I painted with acrylic paint. I was spraying over a stencil recently and I used my wet stencil as a stamp onto this background. I cut this to size - yes, I did remember this week! - and added the embellishments. The house is made with two pieces of card. After I had sketched in the windows and doors I cut them out and added a piece of an old dictionary page behind them. The little girl at the door is a tiny sticker. I added the flower, which you may also recognise from a previous post (see 22nd May) and the hand-written quote. Simples!

Love it.

Your card gives me the urge to ditch the digital & get back to what I call 'hands-on' art, Jackie, love your creation & especially the shabby chic flower!
Great card, Jackie!
Fabulous piece, Jackie! Beautifully created!
Great postcard, Jackie!
Now there is a quote I agree with wholeheartedly and practice religiously. A gorgeous postcard Jackie.
Love your postcard, Jackie!
What a fantastic card Jackie, a great creation! I love all of this card!
Gorgeous postcard and the background is fantastic.
Hi Jackie, this is a wonderfully crafted and designed card. Really beautiful work!
Great house and it's funny the girl in the door. Love the background!
Can I come to your house????
delightful, so free!!
Boo and hiss to the Blog!! Jackie, your gorgeous postcard is a glaring example of the fuzziness we are now facing when posting pictures. It is most noticeable when texts are involved. The fine detail and text in your postcard are very foggy on your blog page but when enlarged it is vibrant and sharp and colorful and beautifully done. I hope everyone takes the time to see it as it really is.
Take a bow for your Sunday Postcard. It is a real winner.
Jackie, I love your house card. Your background is great, the saying is perfect - it's lovely all 'round.
I also have to say when I came to look for your house I was entranced by the rest of your recent works! Gorgeous stencilling, great mixed media - what's not to love? Oh and the Lutrudur piece?...gorgeous! Thanks for the healthy dose of eye candy!
Cindy :)
