I have been doing an online course at Artful Gathering, led by Mary Jane Chadbourne, which involves altering playing cards. This has been so much fun.

Here are the first stages of the cards. Having sanded them all and applied clear gesso, the first layers of colour went on.

Then came layers of ink, to add depth, stencillling and stamping.
