Play - an art journal page
I had fun creating this page, using spray paints, stencil, texture paste and various tapes. Oh, and some mica chips too!

Art Journal Caravan - weeks 4 & 5
Here are my digital pieces for weeks 4 and 5.
One of the prompts for week four was 'bright'.

The theme for week 5 was artists and their work. I concentrated on Van Gogh.

Mail Art
I created this mail art for my sister. It was a cardboard envelope upon which I painted, stamped and drew. The strips of paper come from a print I made using my Gelli Plate.

Welcome to the Mad House!
Here are two digital pieces I created recently. You can tell that I wasn't feeling too good when I made the first one! I'm better now.

Wall Plaque
This started out as a 6 x 6 inch plain piece of wood. I covered it in white gesso and then added the various colours of acrylic paint. I added the paint by stamping it onto the wood using an acrylic block, a technique I picked up from Wendy Vecchi. I then added the red stripes of acrylic paint using the edge of an old credit card. I stamped the butterflies quotes and swirls to finish it.
