Cards
Here are a couple of note cards I made recently. I used Brushos to create the background, stamped over them and then added the stitched frames.

Today ...
Today, I am even more behind than I was yesterday! I am not at all prepared for Christmas and I have had very little crafting time recently, but maybe today I will be better than I was yesterday and start to restore some order!!
Here is a little digital piece I made.

Beyond Blessed...
I created the background for this page using scraps of paper and acrylic paint. The girl was drawn separately and stuck onto the page.

Live on the Edge!
Here are a couple of faces, both drawn with pen but one on a background. I think the latter looks a bit scary!

Painty Layers
Here's the second piece, a postcard, that I created whilst crafting with my friend. I'm not sure that it is finished yet; I may add some embellishments.

Off and On
A friend & I got together recently to do some crafting. This is one of the pieces I created - lots of layers of Paper Artsy's Fresco Paint applied with brushes and foam, using stamps and stencils.

Hope ...
... gives you wings.
We are having our kitchen re-done at the moment and so the house is in chaos and because of this I have done little art. It is much easier to create digitally, so here is a new digital collage.

Acrylic ATCs
I realise, thanks to one of my followers, that I didn't actually explain about acrylic ATCs. They are actually clear plastic (acrylic), meaning that different layers on the front and back can been seen from both sides. Hopefully, that is clearer (sorry about the pun!) when you see my next one.

Soft Pastels
Wanderlust continued to focus on soft pastels this week. My first piece is an exercise in freedom and play, adding various layers.
My second piece is also about layers, with a bit of collage added.

Pastels & Graphite
This week at Wanderlust, Rachel Urista showed us how she used pastels and graphite with acrylic paint in her work. Well, I have several sticks of soft pastels and graphite knocking around and, on the whole, I don't use them. So this was a very good exercise for me. Here are the end results. What do you think?

Abstract Expressionism
Last week I went to the Abstract Expressionism exhibition at the Royal Academy. As well as thoroughly enjoying (most of) what I saw, I learnt a lot and came across artists I had not previously heard of.
Well, of course, once I was home, I had to have a go at creating my own abstract pieces. I'm not sure how successful they are, but I enjoyed doing them!

Acrylic ATCs
Whilst at the crafting show at Ally Pally recently, I saw Helen Chilton and Lynn Hatwell decorate acrylic ATCs. So, of course, I decided to have a go. here are my first ones. Others will follow.
Apologies that the pictures are not great. I find it really hard to take pictures of shiny things!

Bag Party!
Last week, Roben-Marie Smith was the guest artist at Wanderlust. She showed us how to make a folder from a paper carrier bag. I love all the painty layers!

Triptych
I was fortunate enough to be able to do a second 'Make & Take' at the Crafting Show, this time with 'That's Crafty'. This was a more complicated project and so I ended up finishing it at home.

Wooden Plaque
On Saturday I went to the 'Crafting at Ally Pally' show. PaperArtsy was there as usual, but this time I was fortunate enough to do one of their 'Make & Takes'. We decorated a wooden plaque using Fresco Paints, PaperArtsy stamps and adhesive rub-ons with foil, all in about 35 minutes! Here is the finished product.
