Message to self!
Letting go seems to be a theme for me at the moment and I am still practising faces! For this one I used charcoal and paint.

Let go!
I started this page by printing on it with my Gelli Plate and then added some writing, pen marks and more paint. I used bits and pieces that I had in my craft stash to build up the focal point. Done!

Gelli Plate prints
I love using my Gelli Plate. I then end up with piles of prints, though, which sit around until I do something with them. So I decided to use some of them to make cards. Some look finished, so they will stay as they are, others will end up as backgrounds.

Inspire hope
This tag started with acrylic paint and stencils. I then cut the circles from scrap paper, stuck them over the background and drew around them. More was needed, so I added the script using a Dina Wakley stamp. I drew and painted the leaves and, lastly, added the word stickers and the bow.

My Documented Life - week 28
This week DLP is about layering but with a focal point. This is quite a different page for me, but I quite like it.

Crazy!
This page started with me getting excess ink off one of my own stamps. I then scraped various colours of acrylic paint over the patterns. Then I added the borders (the one on the left comes from Roben-MarieSmith), the dots and stripes and, finally, the painted jigsaw pieces.

My Documented Life - week 27
The new theme for July is ephemera and this week the challenge was to use old letters, tickets etc. I have included my flight memorabilia from our holiday to Italy this time last year.

Still practising faces
Well, you've heard of green men? Here's a green lady! Having laid down the background, I painted the face with acrylic paint and then added some definition with a pen.

Opinions needed!
Up until now, I have always shown the whole of a journal page, so you can see that it is in my journal. Like this:
I have noticed, however, that others, particularly ones who are, let's say, more professional, often don't show the page as a whole. Like this:
I thought it would be interesting to know which you think is better.
