My Documented Life - week 25
I am not finding this month's prompts particularly easy. This week it was 'hometown inspiration'. I did, however, really like the page the guest artist, Paivi Eerola, created. So I tried to emulate it. I may not like the prompts, but I am creating pages quite outside my comfort zone, so that has to be good.

Colour
I really like grey, not grey days, but grey paint on a page or a wall. I wouldn't normally put it together with blue and pink, though. So, this page was a little out of my comfort zone but, as so often is the case when trying something different, I like the end result. What do you think?

The answers lie within
A digital collage, a bit different to my normal style.

Hopeful hearts
I created the background of this page with lots of acrylic paint and stencils and then painted the sunflower on top.

My Documented Life - week 24
Okay, I'll be honest, this months theme of 'travel journalling' at DLP is not doing it for me. On the otherhand, it is making me think out of the box. This week, the prompt was recording memories and I thought of climbing fells in the Lake District. So, I started with a watercolour and stuck on some abstract tress. Not realistic, but a representation of happy days.

My Documented Life - week 23
I really can't believe that today we start week 24 of this year! Here is my DLP journal spread for last week. This month the theme is about travel journalling. This didn't give me much inspiration, but in September we plan to go to New York, so this was the basis for my page.

My Documented Life - week 22
The prompt for last week was to use textured paper. I followed Roben-Marie Smith's example and used a doily, cut into smaller sections.

Paints, a stencil and a face
I started this page by applying acrylic paint through a stencil. I then drew the face and added some more orange paint to accentuate it.

Colourful collage!
I created this piece by collaging pieces of scrap paper onto a piece of card. I then stuck the picture of the couple over them. Once it was all dry I coloured the piece with water-soluble oil pastels and then dripped some inks down the whole piece.
