Multiple faces
Here are two more attempts to draw several overlapping faces on a page (see my post on 3rd April).
I quite like the main face and the one on the left-hand side, but the blue face is wrong due to the placing of the eye of the middle face.
I like this one better!

Two journal pages
I have used acrylic paints and spray inks through stencils on the backgrounds of these pages. The women's faces are Dina Wakley stamps, which I stamped onto card and then stuck on the pages. Their clothes are deli paper (now available in this country at Art from the Heart), which I decorated.

Grow towards the light
I used Distress Paints with some white paint sprayed through a stencil on top of them for the background of this page. I drew the leaves. The circles were punched from scraps and the butterflies were die-cut on my Cuttlebug.

Dandelions
I created this page by sticking pieces of newspaper onto my page and then drawing the two dandelions. I added the yellow paint at the end.

Decorated tape
I was looking at Roben-Marie Smith's sticker tape on her website and this inspired me to try and make a similar version for myself. I stuck eight strips of masking tape onto a piece of card. After covering it with various colours of acrylic paint I then stamped on some random images and added some dots and circles of various pens. I also added a bit of writing. I may need to add more adhesive to the strips, but I think they will look good in my journals.

Two digital pieces
I tend to create square digital pieces, so I decided it was time for a change.

Art Journal Caravan - week 13
Tread Softly
The prompt for week 13 of the Art Journal Caravan was top use a favourite line from a favourite story. I adapted it slightly and used a favourite poem.
Credits: stitches by Studio Ztampf; all other elements from 'Painterly' by R McMeen, both @ SBG

Journal pages
Here are three journal pages I started during Dina Wakley's workshops but didn't finish. I have posted them all already, but they weren't in their completed state.
This one now has some journalling.
The next two were just backgrounds, but I have now added some focal points.

Dina's classes
Last, but not least, this was a warm up picture that I drew very quickly in the faces class.
Later on in the colour Wow class, I 'dressed' the middle woman in some deli paper that I had decorated in complementary colours.

Dina Wakley class - In Your Image
Lastly, we had to paint an image of ourselves using a photo. I think this looks less like me, may be because I haven't drawn my glasses.

Dina Wakley class - In Your Image
Next it was making stencils of an image of oneself and spraying through them. I quite like these!

Dina Wakley class - In Your Image
The second class was all about using images of ourselves in our art. Ugh! I have to say, I really enjoyed this day, although I still need to do some work on my images!
The first was tracing a picture or yourself over a collaged page.

Dina Wakley classes
Here are two other challenges. Firstly to paint the head in and then draw in the face.
Secondly, to draw the face and use journalling to form the hair. This is one of my favourites.
