29 Faces
My last face for the '29 Faces' project, plus another to make it up to 29. I have a feeling, though, that they won't be my last. Watch this space!

Art Journal Caravan - week 6
One of the prompts for week 6 was to use a piece by Picasso as inspiration. Using the 'Portrait of Marie-Thérèse' as my inspiration, I took one of my own drawings as my starting point and digitally manipulated it to become more Picasso like. Let me know what you think. The quote is also by Picasso.
This is my original drawing.

Jump
This background for this journal page was created using texture paste, acrylic paint, Treasure Gold. I then added segments of a journal page I had created previously and printed onto photo paper.

It's not who you are...
... that holds you back. It's who you think you are not.

I had fun creating this page, using spray paints, stencil, texture paste and various tapes. Oh, and some mica chips too!

Art Journal Caravan - weeks 4 & 5
Here are my digital pieces for weeks 4 and 5.
One of the prompts for week four was 'bright'.
Credits:all elements from various kits by T Baxter @ SBG
The theme for week 5 was artists and their work. I concentrated on Van Gogh.
Credits: paints from 'Art Therapy by Cryztal Rain and brushes from 'Art Studio' by Fine Crafted Designs, both @ Deviant Scra; all other elements from various kits by T Baxter @ SBG

Mail Art
I created this mail art for my sister. It was a cardboard envelope upon which I painted, stamped and drew. The strips of paper come from a print I made using my Gelli Plate.

Welcome to the Mad House!
Here are two digital pieces I created recently. You can tell that I wasn't feeling too good when I made the first one! I'm better now.

Wall Plaque
This started out as a 6 x 6 inch plain piece of wood. I covered it in white gesso and then added the various colours of acrylic paint. I added the paint by stamping it onto the wood using an acrylic block, a technique I picked up from Wendy Vecchi. I then added the red stripes of acrylic paint using the edge of an old credit card. I stamped the butterflies quotes and swirls to finish it.
