Two digital moos

A moo is a piece of art that is 1⅛” x 2¾”. I played around with some pieces I had already made, 'snipping' out moo shaped pieces and then adding to them to make a new piece.

Bunting

I made this bunting a while ago but couldn't figure out how best to photograph it. I still haven't, so you will just have to admire my nice brown carpet as well!! If you click on the pictures you should be able to see the them more clearly.

And the other side:

Faces wall hanging

I started this project with a piece of cardboard onto which I glued scraps of old book pages. Once dry I coloured it with various Pan Pastels and stamped on some images, using black Archival Ink. The faces (Lynne Perella stamps by Paper Artsy) were stamped onto brown paper that had previously been used to catch any stray ink whilst spraying other projects. I then layered these onto other scraps of paper. The ribbon came off a label from a dress I bought. To finish the piece off I added various metal charms and some stones. These were the only bits that weren't recycled.

Three damask tags

These are three variations of the same tag. I coloured them with Antique Linen Distress Stain to create the backgrounds. Once dry, I  applied several different shades of Distress Ink to the stamp before applying it to each tag i.e. different greens for one, different reds for the second and so on. I finished them by rubbing Rock Candy Distress Stickles (although this is hard to see in the photo) over the surfaces.

Grunge flowers

This is another digital piece that I tried to make look as hand painted as possible. I rather like it. What do you think?

Exit behind

This is a digital piece, but I tried to make it look as hand made as possible. You can tell me whether I succeeded.

Ponder

I created this piece by using one of my own photos of Mount Stewart, a National Trust House in Northern Ireland. I manipulated it digitally and added the background and the word.

Remember the piece I posted yesterday? Well I manipulated it digitally, quite heavily, to make a background paper. Although not obvious, it is made up of several layers.

Playing with paint and stamps

I was so fed up with studying I decided to have a little respite and get some paints out. I then added lots of stamps in various colours. Oh, and there's some tissue paper in there as well! This was the result.

... and one more!

This is my favourite one. It took ages to make, as edging all the elements with the gold Stickles and letting them dry was a bit tedious!
