Phone Art

Here are two very different pieces of art I created on my phone using filters and some of my photos. What do you think?

Faces

Here are two faces I drew sitting on the sofa whilst watching TV! I only used water-soluble oil pastels, a Stabilo All pencil and a water-brush.

This one I coloured the background first and then drew the face.

This one I drew the face first and then coloured the background, which created a very different appearance.

My House!

Week 35 at Wanderlust was loosely based around mosaics. I used some of Kasia's techniques to create these four houses.

I glued old papers onto gessoed backgrounds and then added various colours of Fresco Paints. Once dry I added the words (c/o T Baxter) and applied bees wax and mica chips. Lastly I added some inks.

Dreams

I haven't had much time for art this week, but I have managed to complete my Wanderlust page, inspired by guest artist Carolyn Dube. All the colour you see is created using Dylusions Ink Sprays.

Last week, Lindsay Weirich was the guest artist at Wanderlust. She showed us how to use different techniques with inks. This isn't the kind of canvas I would normally create, but I enjoyed doing it and learnt in the process. Can't be bad!

Ancestors

Two weeks ago at Wanderlust, Kasia encouraged us to create a canvas using paints and inks and old photos. Here is my canvas, featuring seven of my great-grandparents. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of one of my great-grandmothers. I haven't quite decided if the canvas is completed, which probably means it isn't, but it is complete enough to show here. Let me know what you think ...
