Stop worrying!

Easier said than done, I know, but we all need a reminder.
This journal page was created using acrylic paint and pens, with some decorated tape thrown in. There are also some scraps from paper printed on my Gelli Plate.

A couple of tags

Since taking Creative Chemistry 102, I have been playing with making backgrounds for tags. Here are two (very different) ones.
The first was created with paints and stencils.

The second with metal and a stencil.

That isn't blue paint at the bottom. It's a reflection of my jumper!

Enjoy the little things in life ...

... for one day you'll look back and realise they were the big things.

A journal page created with some collage, spray inks and pastels.

Similar to yesterday, but I used acrylic paints instead of spray inks.

More faces!

I used a mixture of spray inks, pens and water-soluble oil pastels to create this page. The words say "Silence speaks when words cannot."

Alcohol inks and stamping

I made these two pieces by covering the white glossy card with various alcohol inks and then stamping over them. They are quite different from each other, but both are very effective. I shall probably turn them into cards.

Creative Chemistry

A little while ago I took an online course by Tim Holtz, where he shared techniques.

I have at last got around to sharing some of them.

Be yourself

The background was laid down using three Distress Stains. Having stamped the face onto tissue paper I glued it onto the background. I then added the tape and Distress Stain circles and added the accents and script.

Great minds...

... discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people. (Eleanor Roosevelt)

This page was created by stamping masks still wet from a previous project. I then used Distress Stains to colour the background and added the outlines and writing.
